Bringing all Voices to the Table
We acknowledge that, in order for us to serve our clients, we need to listen and learn from the widest array of voices in our community and beyond. Perspectives and representation are critical and central to all aspects of the work that we do. One literal table we invite community members to join is our
Quarterly Salon Series.
Initiated in 2022, we wondered about how we might bring thought leaders together for intentional conversations about challenges we are facing in our communities.
We landed on the idea of hosting a series of conversation circles that would be casual from a social perspective, but intentional from an “intellectual” perspective.

What Happens at a Salon?
Participants gather and introduce themselves, welcoming themselves to snacks
A Collectivity team member as well as a community partner(s) kick off the conversation topic
The group discusses! Everyone is welcome to speak or listen
After 90 minutes are up the group is welcome to mingle and continue chatting to new friends!
