Shehla joined Collectivity as Chief Operations Officer in 2017, and oversees all of our client projects. Previously at UnitedHealth Group she served as Sr. Director, Program Management. Prior to UHG, Shehla was VP of International at Pearson, Vangent, and General Dynamics IT predominantly leading the technical implementation of large-scale Business Process Outsourcing Solutions for various governments around the world. Shehla holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University. Shehla has been recognized as a Technology Star by the National Women of Color in 2007 and 2012. She sits on many nonprofit boards, including Vice Chair of Shift, Co-Chair of SE-MSP, President of Interfaith Circle, and Vice Chair of Honoring Women Worldwide. A native of Pakistan, Shehla has been living and working in the Twin Cities for the last 28 years, and has three grown children. Having traveled and worked in many countries, Shehla believes and promotes the power of connecting and serving at the most fundamental level…as thinking and feeling human beings.

Scott

Scott is a high tech executive with blended experience leading for-profit, nonprofit, education, social enterprise, and cooperative organizations to deliver high impact outcomes. He is committed to eliminating equity disparities in housing, employment, education, health & wealth by building the capacities of nonprofits and community organizations to work collaboratively to accelerate and amplify their missions. He founded Collectivity as a cooperative in 2014 to help level the economic playing field, rooting Collectivity’s work in the principals of a shared economy, and equity for all. Scott serves as a founding board member of Social Enterprise MSP, MNvest.org, and Co-Minnesota. He is active in his faith community where he’s been a youth leader for over 30 years. His two daughters are grown and ‘off the payroll’.

Zara

Senior Consultant

Co-op: Coworker Member

Zara (she/hers) is the founder and former Executive Director of ComMUSICation, a Sistema-inspired choral program for historically under-resourced youth in St. Paul founded in 2013. She led the organization from its inception in 2013 to 2021 and in her time implemented multiple strategic plans pivoting in the midst of the pandemic with funding sources, methodology, and delivery with this organization. Her organization received the Damus Award for its commitment to equity and she was recently selected as a 2023 Distinguished Alumni for Stillwater Area High School and chosen as a 2022 EdTalks speaker. Zara holds a Master's degree in Comparative International Development Education and a minor in Program Evaluation from the University of Minnesota. She serves on the Education Committee of Friends of the Boundary Waters and was formerly on the Board of See Change Treble Choir where she served as Vice-President, Sprockets Youth Development Network’s Community Advisory Council, and has been a panelist on several Metropolitan Regional Arts Council community grants. She has presented at several national and regional conferences including Los Angeles Philharmonic, Chorus America, and MN Music Educators’ Association.

Katie

Cooperative Director & Consultant

Katie joined the Collectivity team in early 2023 to direct our cooperative initiatives. She is passionate about the positive economic impact of cooperatives and the big impact they offer for transforming extractive business practices. Her introduction to co-ops was in supporting an agriculture co-op which formed to equitably share resources and decision making power. Seeing the potential of the cooperative model in action, Katie founded Aynah, a nonprofit introducing young people to cooperatives through experiential learning. Katie’s recent work has been building a more just local food system by collaborating with community organizations focused on racial, social, and food justice in her role as Community & Event Coordinator at Mississippi Market Food Co-op.

Katie holds degrees in business and Spanish, certificates in cooperative development and abolitionist training, and serves on the Ralph K. Morris Foundation board. She has called St. Paul home for over seven years and lives in the West 7th neighborhood with her husband, two young children, and beloved dog Nina. Katie is also passionate about minimizing waste, hiking (ideally daily), and eating good bread.

Anna

Consultant

Co-op: Coworker Member, Board of Directors - Secretary

Anna joined the Collectivity team in October 2022. Anna completed her undergraduate degrees at the Carlson School of Management in Entrepreneurial Management and Public Nonprofit Management, with a minor in international economics. She is passionate about data visualization, design, data analytics, and project management.

Previous positions include as Development Associate for FamilyWise Services and Youth Leadership Training Program Director at Phantom Lake YMCA Camp. Anna was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin but has adored living in Minneapolis for the past 6 years with her partner and two kittens. In her free time Anna enjoys cooking, exploring the Twin Cities, infographics, and live music.

Ashleyn

Senior Consultant, Marketing and Communications

Ashleyn Przedwiecki (Ash-Lyn, Prz-d-wick-ee) is a seasoned operations managers and event professional with over 8+ years of experience in the industry with a background in nonprofit, arts & culture, and creative placemaking, with an emphasis on sustainable design, social impact, and community engagement. She is a certified Sustainable Event Manager through the Events Industry Council, is Climate Reality trained, and studied at Minneapolis College of Art and Design through the Master’s program in Sustainable Design. She is a highly sought-after creative director for her design-forward approach to curating impactful experiences that center on sustainability, encourage mindfulness, and inspire cultural shifts. She proudly serves as a member of the Global Shapers, an initiative of the World Economic Forum to gather young leaders from around the world to engage in driving change in their communities and leads the North American Caribbean teams for the Shaping Fashion Initiative.

Sophia

Consultant

Sophie (she/her) joined the Collectivity team in November 2023 while completing her Masters in Public Policy at Humphrey School of Public Affairs. As a former educator, she is passionate about advancing social justice and equity initiatives recognizing the importance of community and collective efforts in creating positive social impact. Before joining Collectivity as a consultant, she worked as an elementary school teacher and a project manager at a small woman-owned construction company in Minneapolis. She hopes to bring her dynamic experience to her work with clients.

Sophie holds degrees in Education, Spanish, and, as of spring 2024, Public Policy. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two dogs, Penny and Frannie, who keep her active and outdoors.

Jolene

Program Consulting Associate Intern

Jolene joined the collectivity team in February 2024 as a Program Consulting Associate intern. She is currently in her third year, studying Information Technology Infrastructure (ITI) at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. Her vocational passion includes operation strategy, management systems, data studies, and applying technological education and tools towards businesses and organizations.

Outside of Collectivity, Jolene loves to travel and be immersed in different cultures/experiences. While at home, she enjoys reading fantasy book series, taking care of her 20+ plants, and learning/developing new patterns for her knitting/crocheting obsession.

Rara

Program Consulting Associate Intern

Rara joined Collectivity in 2022 as part of the Social Impact Scholars summer program from St. Olaf College. She has experience working with Global Citizen Year, an award-winning nonprofit organization that aims to generate future leaders and global changemakers in which she serves as an admission ambassador, outreach strategist, and moderator. She graduated from UWC-USA-an international boarding school in New Mexico- and has been known for her commitment as an event coordinator

from her collaboration with the local youth community as well as tracing back to her engagement as the VP of the Student Council back in Indonesia, where she is originated from before coming to the US in 2018.

Rara's interests lie in urbanism, community engagement, personal development, leadership as a practice, and global systems and society. She listens to productivity podcasts, cooks international cuisine, and conducts various personal projects from blogging, Notion-ing, watercolor art, and calligraphy, to travel montages.
